In an effort to simplify the acquisitions process, AEP offers an out-of-print search service. If a title is classified “out-of-print” or “out of stock indefinitely,” we will, upon your request, search our worldwide network of out-of-print dealers to find uncirculated or quality used versions of the title. If the title is found and it meets your criteria, AEP will purchase the title automatically and add it to your order. If the located copy does not meet your criteria, we will report its condition and price to you for permission to supply. Substitution criteria can be included in your customer profile, or may be done on a title-by-title basis. Either way, you control the purchase decision.
